Easy Banana Ice Cream

Another simple ice cream for the summer.
Ingredients:
6 bananas
1 tbsp lemon juice
1,5 dl clear syrup (see strawberry icecream recipe)
1 tsp vanilla
300 ml whipping cream
Chocolate sauce:
dark chocolate
cream
coffee
vanilla
Freeze 6 banana. Then thaw them. They will become all mushy. That's the plan.

Cut the end off and squeeze them out. Please no comments!

Blend the banana 30 secs. Then squeeze in a spoonful of lemon.

Add 1,5 dl of sugar syrup (see starwberry icecream for how to make it). Alternatively you can use honey and then maybe just a bit less.

A spoonful of vanilla.

Add the cream.

Blend for a couple of minutes until it gets nice and frothy.

Pour into a container and freeze overnight.

What goes better with banana than chocolate. Here's a simple sauce. Break up some dark chocolate. Add some cream or milk, a bit of instant coffee and some vanilla. Put it in the microwave for 1 minute.

Take it out stir. It will look horrible in the beginning. If there are big parts which haven't melted give it a bit more.

After stirring it will soon look like this though.

Take the icecream out 15 minutes before serving. Pour chocolate sauce over it. Enjoy the summer!
